Operation Epic Fury: The United States launched a major military operation against Iran on Saturday, dubbed 'Operation Epic Fury'. The strikes targeted Iranian military infrastructure, including missile facilities, naval bases, and sites near the office of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
The Operation Epic Fury comes against the backdrop of Trump's warning to Tehran of making a 'meaningful deal' with Washington within 10 days or 'bad things will happen'.

What Is Operation Epic Fury?
Operation Epic Fury was a combat mission conducted by the United States, with support from Israel, targeting key Iranian military infrastructure, including missile facilities, naval installations, command centres and sites near the office of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran. The operation followed a warning from US President Donald Trump giving Iran a 10-day timeperiod to finalise a nuclear deal, Jagran.com reported.
According to the US officials, the mission was intended to protect American citizens and allies by neutralising potential threats from Iran's missile programs and broader military infrastructure. US defence officials publicly announced the operation shortly after the strikes commenced.
What Was The Target Of Operation Epic Fury?
The primary targets of Operation Epic Fury were Iranian military and naval installations. Key sites included missile depots, naval bases, and sites near the office of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran. The operation also focused on facilities linked to Iran's missile production and military planning.
The United States, in coordination with Israel, launched strikes against Iran to reduce the immediate threat from Iran's military capabilities to the American forces and allies in the Middle East.
In response, Iranian forces, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, launched missile and drone attacks against US bases across the Middle East.
