Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Friday said the country is ready for a possible ground invasion by the US soldiers.

As per Iran's Press TV, Tehran's residential areas were attacked by the US and Israel on Friday. However, there have been no reports of any death or serious injuries.

In her statement, Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni on Thursday stated that Italy is planning to send assistance to the Gulf nations amid the ongoing war.

Iran’s Armed Forces on Thursday clarified that it did not fire any missile toward Türkiye. "The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran respect the sovereignty of the neighbouring and friendly country, Turkiye, and deny any missile launches toward that country’s territory," it said in the statement, reported Mehr news agency.

The Iranian media has reported that several explosions were heard in the capital city in the past two hours as the country activated its air defence systems.

The US State Department has begun the charter flight services for the Americans stranded in the Middle East region since the military conflict with Iran began.

An Iranian official stated that Tehran will target the Israeli nuclear site if Israel and US seek regime change following the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
