US President Donald Trump on Saturday labelled Tehran the "loser of the Middle East" after Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian apologised to neighbouring countries for attacking them during its war with Israel and the United States. Trump also warned that Iran "will be hit very hard" today.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said, "Iran, which is being beat to HELL, has apologized and surrendered to its Middle East neighbours, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore. This promise was only made because of the relentless U.S. and Israeli attack."

The US President, in the social media post, claimed that Iran was "looking to take over and rule the Middle East".

Iran's President Apologises To Neighbours Over Attacks

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday apologised to the neighbouring nations for the attacks launched during Iran's war with Israel and the United States. He said an interim leadership council had decided that there would not be any further strikes or missile launches on the neighbouring countries, unless an attack on Iran originates from those countries.

At the same time, Pezeshkian made it clear that Iran would not surrender, warning that "the enemies must take their wish for the surrender of the Iranian people to their graves."

Trump Demands Iran's 'Unconditional Surrender'

US President Donald Trump on Friday demanded Iran's unconditional surrender as the only acceptable outcome to end hostilities. At the same time, Trump also promised to rebuild the country's economy if Tehran complied and installed new leadership.

He further said that any capitulation by Tehran, the United States and its allies would work to bring Iran "back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before."
