Trump Mocks Obama: US President Donald Trump posted a controversial video on social media, mocking his predecessor, Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama. The video depicts the former US President and his wife as monkeys, drawing criticism on social media.

Trump Accused Obama Of Rigging Polls In 2020

Trump shared the video on Truth Social on Thursday, February 5, in which he claimed there was widespread fraud in the elections 2020. Trump accused the ballot-counting company Dominion Voting Systems of colluding with Obama's Democratic Party to steal his victory in the 2020 election.

The video shared by Trump features the song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" playing in the background. At the end of the video, Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are shown for just a second with their faces superimposed on the bodies of monkeys.

Trump Trolled For His Post

California Governor Gavin Newsom, a vocal critic of Trump and a potential Democratic presidential candidate in 2028, criticised Trump's post, calling the Republican leader's behaviour "disgusting." Ben Rhodes, a former top national security advisor and close confidant of Barack Obama, also slammed Trump, saying he will be seen as a stain on history.

A user, African (@ali_naka) on X wrote, "When we told the Non-Thinkers in Kenyan that when Trump Insults Somalia, he is insulting an entire race, they thought we were imagining things. Obama has Kenyan Roots and this is what Trump thinks of him

Another X user, Truth Republic (@GrowthGuruX_) said, "This isn’t about Republicans or Democrats, every American should denounce this. Trump’s rhetoric leans openly into racism, and mocking a former president crosses a dangerous line. Obama served with dignity, and this kind of attack from a sitting president is disgraceful and unimaginable."

Last year, Trump posted an AI-generated video showing Barack Obama being arrested in the Oval Office and behind bars in an orange jumpsuit. He also previously used artificial intelligence (AI) to mock world leaders.
