But recently, their friendship saw some strains as the Blank Space singer was dragged into Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal drama.

Blake Lively and her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni have been making headlines for quite some time with their legal battle, where Blake accused Justin of creating a hostile work environment and retaliation for her speaking out. Amid all this chaos, tensions brewed up between Blake and Taylor’s friendship as the singer reportedly disagreed with her best pal.

As per several reports, Taylor and Blake have halted their friendship and are trying to give each other the space they require. While this drama continues, another news that added fuel to their friendship separation was Taylor’s next song. The singer is coming up with an album titled The Life of a Showgirl and it consists of a song called ‘Ruin The Friendship.’ Netizens assumed that this song could be a dig at her old buddy and their fallout.

Reportedly, the song was actually written during the summer of 2024, months before the whole legal drama came into the picture. The album is set to release on October 3, 2025. Though it is still uncertain whether the song is about the deteriorating friendship of the duo or just a mere coincidence, netizens still wait for the song’s release to get a better picture of the situation.

In the work zone, actress Blake Lively was seen in the sequel to 2018 movie A Simple Favor. The second part titled Another Simple Favor featured Blake as Emily Nelson alongside Anna Kendrick. Meanwhile, singer Taylor Swift is ruling the internet with her latest appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast. The talented singer also garnered a lot of attention for her eleventh studio album The Tortured Poets Department, which broke streaming records internationally.
