The company is launching the Nothing Phone 4a series today, and if the leaks are even close to accurate, this could be one of its most aggressive mid-range plays yet. Two phones are expected: the Nothing Phone 4a and the Nothing Phone 4a Pro. Nothing hasn’t officially confirmed the specs so far, but enough details have surfaced to give us a solid idea of what might be coming.
Here’s what we know before the curtain goes up.

When And Where To Watch
The launch event kicks off on March 5 at 4:00 PM IST and will be streamed live on Nothing’s official YouTube channel. If you’ve been tracking the brand, this is usually where it drops all the details, from specs to pricing to availability.
As for sales, reports suggest the standard Phone 4a could go on sale from March 12, while the Pro version may hit shelves later, around March 26. We’ll get exact confirmation during the event.
Let’s Talk Price First
Leaks claim the Nothing Phone 4a could start at around ₹32,000 in India. The Phone 4a Pro, being the more premium model, is expected to start at roughly ₹42,000.
Again, these numbers are not official yet. But if they hold true, Nothing is clearly aiming to sit comfortably in the upper mid-range space.
What The Phone 4a Pro Might Offer
The Pro model looks like it is built for people who want performance without stepping into full flagship pricing.
It is tipped to feature a large 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. That alone would make scrolling and gaming feel noticeably smoother.
Powering the device could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On paper, that is serious hardware.
Battery capacity is expected to be around 5,080mAh. For cameras, leaks suggest a triple rear setup led by a 50MP main sensor, along with a 50MP front camera for selfies. If that turns out to be true, Nothing could be pushing hard on camera performance this time.
What About The Standard Phone 4a
The regular Nothing Phone 4a is expected to come with a 6.7-inch display and a 120Hz refresh rate. Slightly smaller, slightly less aggressive, but still solid for everyday use.
It could run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, again with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage.
Interestingly, this model is tipped to pack a larger 5,400mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. That could make it the endurance-focused option in the lineup.
On the camera side, reports mention a triple rear setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is expected to be 32MP.
Now It’s About Execution
On paper, the Nothing Phone 4a series sounds ambitious. But the real story will be how these phones are positioned, priced and fine-tuned in real-world use.
