Kitchen Hacks To Peel Garlic Easily: Probably one of the most hectic parts of cooking is peeling garlic cloves. Peeling tiny garlic cloves one by one leaves you annoyed, with smelly fingers and lots of work. Removing the stubborn skin on the outer layer of garlic seems an easy task, but not when you need lots of garlic for preparing a tadka for a dal or some other dish. But we have got you covered. Here is a list of tried and tested kitchen hacks that make peeling garlic more convenient.
List Of Tried And Tested Kitchen Hacks To Peel Garlic Easily:
Viral Shake The Jar Way
Put unpeeled garlic cloves in a bell jar with a tight-fitting lid. Add a pinch of salt for traction. Shake vigorously, like a bartender mixing cocktails. The internet said the skins come off easily, but that was not the case with me. Shaking a jar was itself a workout. Then, after vigorous shaking, the skin of garlic cloves does loosen a little, but you still need to peel the garlic manually.
This hack will work great if you have someone wholly free for you to shake the jar for a good amount of time.

Microwave Garlic Cloves:
Heat the garlic cloves in the microwave for 20 seconds. Let the garlic cool and then remove the skin. Perfect for lazy nights when you're preparing garlic-rich curries. This method was quick, but it left my microwave smelling like garlic.

Knife Smash and Roll:
Gently smash the cloves with the blade side of a knife and then roll them with your palm. The skin will crack and peel off. Now, chop the garlic. This method I liked the most, easy, no unnecessary steps and the quickest to peel the garlic cloves.
