My evening at the Nehru Planetarium was not just a visit; it was a quiet return to childhood. Situated inside the historic Teen Murti Campus, and the moment I entered the campus, I felt something shift inside me; the nostalgia of school trips wrapped around me. There were school buses parked outside, teachers counting heads, and kids running around with gleaming eyes, eagerly awaiting the magical space show to begin.

Their excitement was so infectious that watching them, I felt like my childself again, curious, restless, and full of wonder. I stood in the queue and bought a ticket for the 3D space show. But before the theatre doors opened, we were guided through the space museum, and it was truly a creative masterpiece. The museum was beautifull blend of technology and fascinating space knowledge.

The museum within Nehru Planetarium was not just educational; it was interactive and playful. I played games that were made to teach people about space.

My favourite one was checking my weight on different planets, and who knew gravity could be so fun? Learning about the solar system, the sun, the moon, and distant galaxies, space never intrigued me like this. Each corner of that place made me a curious child.

Finally, it was time for the 3D space show. It felt like stepping into the mini version of the universe. As we seated the host gently guided us through the cosmic journey. As the lights turned off, “Look above,” kids whispered, pointing above. And suddenly, the ceiling transformed into a breathtaking sky packed with stars shimmering, planets floating, galaxies unfolding the truth of space. It was picture-perfect, almost dreamy.

After the show, I wandered around the planetarium, the chaotic cafe, the quiet library, the garden blooming with flowers and the toy stall outside the campus.

Everything made me feel like reliving childhood, when every weekend I used to visit museums with my parents. It was peaceful and especially emotional, because when I was in first standard, my school had planned a trip here, but I couldn’t go because I fell sick. That childhood disappointment had stayed somewhere in my heart.

And today, years after I learned a lesson that maybe everything truly happens for the best. Because this time, I didn’t just visit. I relived my inner child.
