She states, “Healthy, radiant skin is a reflection of consistency, both in what you apply and what you eat. Dr Priyanka Hemrajani suggested a balance of a regular skincare routine and taking care of your gut health to protect your skin from within and boost slow ageing and natural glow.
Dermatologist-Approved AM To PM Skincare Routine For Healthy And Glowing Skin
Morning Skincare Routine:
1. Start with a gentle cleanser, as per your skin type.
2. Follow it with antioxidant serum, as per your skin type.

The senior consultant dermatology recommended, "Choose the vitamin C serum that works to brighten and protect your skin from pollution and damaging UV rays, and if you have sensitive skin, opt for alternatives such as niacinamide, resveratrol, or ferulic acid."
3. Follow it with a light moisturiser for hydrating your skin.
4. Finally, apply broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher). It not only protects you from harmful UV rays, but also prevents tanning, pigmentation, and premature ageing.

Morning Ritual For Good Gut Health:
1. Begin your day with a glass of warm water with some lemon juice or soaked chia seeds to stimulate digestion.

2. You can also include probiotics like curd, buttermilk, or fermented foods such as idli, kanji, or sauerkraut to balance gut bacteria in your diet.
Lastly, Dr Priyanka Hemrajani strongly asserts, “a healthy gut reduces acne, dullness, and inflammation, making skin clearer and calmer.”
Night Skincare Routine:
1. Double cleansing with micellar water or cleansing balm to remove sunscreen and dirt.
2. Then, your usual gentle face wash.

3. Next, apply skin-repairing retinol, peptides, or niacinamide to help your skin rejuvenate at night.
4. Lastly, apply a hydrating night cream containing ceramides or hyaluronic acid.

Night Gut Care Tips:
1. Dinner two hours before your bedtime.
2. Veggie-loaded and fibre-rich Dinner.
