Delhi experienced a sudden weather change on Tuesday, with heavy rain, dust storm and lightning seen throughout the state, which provided the much-needed respite from hot weather but was highly disruptive. The Palam observatory noted that peak wind speed at 120 kmph was registered at Palam at around 6.50 to 6.52 p m-a speed which is at par with its highest ever gust recorded in 2001.
