Zootopia 2 On OTT: The wait is finally over, after a record-breaking run in cinemas, Disney’s Zootopia 2 is making its way to digital screens. Fans who have been eagerly awaiting the return of the world’s most famous bunny cop and fox detective can now mark their calendars for a home viewing marathon. Following its theatrical premiere on November 26 last year, the sequel has dominated the global box office. The film managed to pull in a staggering $1.861 billion, securing its spot as the second-highest-grossing animated film of all time.

Zootopia 2 OTT Release Date

Zootopia 2 is set to stream on Disney+ starting from March 11, 2026. Announcing this the streaming platform shared a fresh trailer with the caption, "Wake up, Hopps and Wilde stans, the dream team is back! Zootopia 2 is coming home to Disney+ on March 11." In India, viewers will be able to catch the adventure on the JioHotstar platform.

Zootopia 2 Plot, Cast And Other Details

In this high-stakes sequel, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are no longer rookies, they are established partners at the ZPD. However, their skills are put to the ultimate test when they uncover a massive conspiracy involving an enigmatic reptile known as Gary De'Snake. To solve the case, the pair must explore previously hidden sectors of the sprawling animal city and confront a past that could change Zootopia forever. The story focuses on them working in secret to reveal a truth that threatens to disrupt the entire urban landscape.

The sequel sees the return of the original's heart and soul, with Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman reprising their roles as Judy and Nick. They are joined by a massive ensemble of new and returning talent which includes Ke Huy Quan as the mysterious Gary De'Snake, Shakira returns as the pop icon Gazelle, featuring a new song, 'Zoo,' co-written by Ed Sheeran. Additionally, Idris Elba returns as the stern Chief Bogo. New additions include Andy Samberg, Fortune Feimster, Quinta Brunson, and Danny Trejo.

While some critics argue whether it reaches the exact emotional depth of the first film, the consensus is clear that it is a triumph. With its blend of detective noir and family-friendly comedy, Zootopia 2 is poised to be the biggest streaming hit of the year.
