Rihanna House Shooting News: The woman accused of firing shots at the home of global superstar Rihanna has been identified as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz. The 35-year-old from Florida was taken into custody following a terrifying incident on Sunday afternoon at the singer’s Beverly Hills mansion.

The shooting took place around 1:30 p.m. at the residence where Rihanna lives with her partner, A$AP Rocky, and their three young children. According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the suspect approached the property in a white Tesla and discharged between seven and nine rounds from what was described as an AR-15-style rifle. Police confirmed that at least four bullets hit the house, with one round reportedly passing through a wall. At the time of the attack, the entire family was inside. Reports suggest Rihanna was doing chores when the gunfire started. An emergency dispatch captured the moment the report came in, “Shooting just occurred. Ten gunshots fired from the vehicle."

Following the 911 call, law enforcement used a helicopter to track the white Tesla as it fled the scene. About 30 minutes later, officers apprehended Ortiz at a shopping centre in Sherman Oaks. She has been booked on suspicion of attempted murder and is being held on a massive bond of $10,225,000. While a formal motive has not been confirmed, investigators have looked into Ortiz's social media history.

Meanwhile, weeks before the shooting, she reportedly posted several aggressive messages on Facebook. In one post dated February 23, 2026, she tagged the singer and wrote: “@badgalriri Are you there? Cause I was waiting for your AIDS 5-head self to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you talking to me where I’m not at.” She also posted bizarre comments directed at other celebrities, stating, “You can’t fk with me, Cardi B. You’re supposedly busy right now."

On the other hand, no injuries were reported during the shooting. However, the incident has clearly shaken the family. Just one day after the attack, Rihanna was seen heading to Van Nuys Airport. Photographs showed several bags being loaded into vehicles as she prepared to leave the city.
