After 14 long years, Bollywood’s OG duo Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are finally reuniting for Bhooth Bangla, and the excitement is real. Known for delivering some of Hindi cinema’s most iconic comedy entertainers that still enjoy cult status, the actor-director pair is now stepping into the horror-comedy space once again with this much-anticipated film. Backed by Balaji Motion Pictures, the project promises to revive the golden comic timing and effortless humor that defined their earlier collaborations.
With anticipation already sky-high, Akshay recently added to the buzz by releasing a quirky, spooky and fun video that instantly grabbed attention. In the clip, he is seen walking and casually chatting with a headless bhooth and asks the ultimate question: "Do ghosts really exist?"
What follows is a hilarious exchange where the ghost says he doesn’t know, joking that his father told his mother she was a ghost, while his mother claimed his father was one. He then shrugs it off, calling them mere rumours that shouldn’t be believed. The video cleverly blends spooky vibes with Akshay’s trademark comic timing, perfectly setting the mood for the film.
