Actor Rajpal Yadav was granted bail in a Rs 9 crore cheque bounce case by the Delhi High Court on Monday after he deposited Rs 1.5 crore in the bank account of the complainant. Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel’s troubles also seem to be increasing. A non-bailable warrant has now been issued against the film actress by a court in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The case dates back to 2017, and she has been accused of fraud. Despite court orders, Ameesha Patel has reportedly failed to appear before the court. Taking a strict stance, the court has now issued a non-bailable warrant against her.

What is Ameesha Patel’s Cheque Bounce Non- Bailable Warrant Case?

According to reports, in 2017, the actress was paid ₹14.5 lakh to perform at a wedding. However, despite taking the money, she did not attend the event. A complaint was filed against Ameesha Patel by Moradabad resident Pawan Kumar Verma, who owns an event management company named Dream Vision. As per the complainant, Ameesha was invited to perform at a wedding in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.

It is alleged that Ameesha initially demanded ₹11 lakh as an advance payment, which Pawan agreed to. Later, during the wedding, Ameesha reportedly reached Delhi and demanded an additional ₹2 lakh to travel to the destination venue. When Pawan Kumar refused to pay the extra amount, the actress allegedly returned without informing anyone.

Ameesha Did Not Return The Money

Pawan Kumar has claimed that Ameesha did not return the ₹11 lakh advance. Apart from Patel, the complainant has also filed a case against Suresh Kumar, Rajkumar Goswami, and Ahmed Sharif. The actress has been charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including Sections 120B, 406, 504, 420, and 506.

In connection with the case, Ameesha allegedly issued a cheque of ₹2 lakh, which later bounced. The court had ordered her to appear in person in 2026.

In 2018, she was involved in a similar case when a Jharkhand-based producer invested ₹2.5 crore in her film Desi Magic, which was never completed. In 2024, Patel repaid the entire ₹2.5 crore amount, after which that case was closed.
