UPSC IES ISS Registration 2026: UPSC online registration has started to fill a total of 44 IES and ISS vacancies. The deadline to register is March 3, 2026. Step 1: Go to the official website at upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the UPSC IES ISS 2026 registration link on the homepage.
Step 3: To generate your application number and password, enter your basic details.
Step 4: Using the above credentials, complete the rest of the application form.
Step 5: Upload all mandatory documents.
Step 6: Pay the registration fee according to your category.
Step 7: Submit the form after cross-checking all details thoroughly.
UPSC IES ISS 2026: Application Fee
Candidates need to pay the application fee through the online payment modes, such as net banking/credit card/debit card. Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability are exempted from the application fee, while all other category candidates need to pay Rs 200.
UPSC IES ISS 2026: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the UPSC IES ISS exam 2026, candidates must be citizens of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee. Age must be between 21 to 30 years as of August 1, 2026.
Additional details related to nationality are as follows:
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam, intending to settle permanently in India.
