UGC NET Result 2026: The National Testing Agency is expected to declare NET UGC results for the December 2025 session by February 4 on the NTA official website. Candidates who appeared for the exam on December 31, 2025, and on January 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7, 2026, can download the result PDF through the candidate login portal.
The UGC NET exam is conducted for PhD admission, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and Assistant Professor posts.

Once the UGC NET exam result link is active, candidates can use the following instructions to download the UGC NET scorecard:
Step 1: Go to the NTA official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the “UGC NET Exam Result/Scorecard” download link.
Step 3: Enter your application number and password.
Step 4: The result will be displayed in PDF format.

UGC NET December Session 2025 Cutoff Marks
The cut-off marks for the UGC NET December session are based on the exam's difficulty level, candidate feedback, and the number of successful attempts in Papers 1 and 2 across all shifts. The cut-off will be published according to subject and category. It represents the minimum qualifying scores needed for candidates to pass the exam.
UGC NET 2025: Qualifying Marks
To clear the UGC NET, general category candidates need 40% total marks in both papers together. The SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwD, and third gender categories need to score at least 35% total marks.
