JMI Admission 2026: JMI admission 2026 for various UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate courses has started. The last date to submit applications is March 25, 2026. As part of a major expansion in the academic courses, JMI has introduced 30 new courses across Humanities, Sciences, Engineering, Law, Architecture, Hotel management and vocational education. 

The newly added courses include:

  • BA (Hons) Japanese Studies (Self-Financed)

  • BA (Hons) German Studies (Self-Financed)

  • BA (Hons) Uzbek Language

  • Literature & Culture

  • BA (Hons) Human Resource Management (Self-Financed).

Candidates can download and read the official academic prospectus from the official website. It contains details regarding eligibility criteria, application links, entrance exams, admit cards, syllabi, test centres, course fees, and tentative result timelines.

JMI Admission 2026: Categorization Of Application Form

JMI applications have been divided into four categories to simplify the admission process. These are:

  • General university programmes

  • CUET-based programmes

  • BTech and BArch programmes

  • Multiple entry NEP programmes

Admission will be granted based on university entrance exam as well as national-level exams like JEE Main, NATA, NEET, NCET and CUET. The admission portal will be active till March 25, 2026. 

JMI Admission 2026: Exam Centres Expanded

The university has increased its exam test centres from eight to 11. The newly added centres are Jaipur, Dehradun and Kishangan. The existing centres include:

  • Delhi

  • Lucknow

  • Guwahati

  • Patna

  • Kolkata

  • Srinagar

  • Calicut 

  • Bhopal

JMI Admission 2026: Fee Details

The university has announced that it will not increase its course fees across all programs for the 2026-27 academic session. Under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, JMI will accept admission under the Multiple Entry Mode for the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) from this academic session, providing greater flexibility to students.

JMI has also reduced fees for foreign students under the general and supernumerary seat categories. For students from SAARC, West Asian, African and Latin American countries eligible for UG, PG and diploma programmes, a detailed fee structure has been provided.
