CBSE Board Exam 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday cancelled the Class 10 board exams scheduled from March 7 to 11 across the Middle East, including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Additionally, the CBSE postponed the Class 12 board exam scheduled for March 7.

The CBSE further said that the mode of the declaration of Class 10 results in the Middle East will be communicated separately in due course.

CBSE Cancels Class 10 Board Exams

As per the announcement, all Class 10 CBSE board exams scheduled from March 7 to 11 have been cancelled. The exams that were previously postponed, scheduled for March 2, 5, and 6, have also been cancelled.

CBSE Postpones Class 12 Board Exams

Additionally, the Class 12 board exams scheduled for March 7 have been postponed. This is in continuation of the earlier announcement in which Class 12 board exams scheduled for March 2, 5, and 6 were postponed.

The CBSE will review the situation on Saturday, March 7 and issue directions regarding examinations scheduled for March 9, 2026 onwards.

In a circular dated March 5, 2026, the CBSE said, "In continuation of Circulars dated 01.03.2026 and 03.03.2026, and after a critical review of the prevailing situation in parts of the Middle East (Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE), the Board has taken the following decisions."

Class 10 Examinations

- All examinations scheduled from March 7 to 11 have been cancelled.

- Examinations scheduled on March 2, 5, and 6, which were earlier postponed, have also been cancelled.

- The mode of declaration of results for Class X results in the Middle East will be communicated separately in due course.

Class 12 Examinations

- The examination scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, has been postponed. Revised dates will be announced later.

- The Board will review the situation on Saturday, 07 March 2026 and issue appropriate directions regarding examinations scheduled from March 9 onwards.
