CBSE Board Class 10 Passing Marks 2026: What if a student fails?

If a student fails in one or two subjects, CBSE offers the opportunity to appear in Phase 2 of the CBSE Board Class 10 exams. The second main CBSE Class 10 exam is expected to be held between May 15 and June 1, 2026. Students who failed in Phase 1 can appear in Phase 2 and improve their performance without repeating the entire year.

However, if a student fails in more than two subjects, they may have to repeat the academic year.
