India vs Pakistan, T20 World Cup 2026: Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav's actions during the recent matches against Pakistan have been under immense scrutiny from a certain section of fans. His decision not to shake hands with his Pakistani counterpart is one of them. However, in one of the clips that has gone viral on social media, Suryakumar can be heard telling his players not to sledge Pakistan batters during the recent T20 World Cup match in Colombo.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared this in a behind-the-scenes video of the match, highlighting many fascinating aspects from India’s perspective. The clip showcased the team’s journey from their hotel, where they were welcomed by enthusiastic Indian supporters, to the stadium.

Though Suryakumar appeared serious during the toss, he was later seen chuckling about the loss of the coin flip. However, he returned to his serious demeanor during the team huddle.

“Keep running between the overs. Kisi se kuch bolna nahi hai. Don’t say anything to anyone, we have to play good cricket. We will win this game through good skill," he said.

In contrast to last year's Asia Cup matches, there were no occurrences of sledging among the players. During that tournament in the UAE, which followed closely after the Pahalgam terror attack, there were numerous gestures of gun-firing and plane-downing. In this instance, both teams appeared quite at ease and refrained from conflicts.
