India U19 vs Zimbabwe U19 World Cup:

India's winning streak in the tournament remained intact with a resounding 204-run victory over Zimbabwe U19 in their ICC Under 19 World Cup 2026 Super 6 match at the Queens Sports Oval in Bulawayo on Tuesday.

A century from Vihaan Malhotra laid the foundation, while Ayush Mhatre and Udhav Mohan's three-wicket haul ensured a comfortable win. India's impressive run in the tournament continued as they posted a commanding 352/8.

Vihaan's composed hundred, an unbeaten 109 off 107 balls, docked the innings, while Abhigyan Kundu contributed a fluent 61.

Defending the total, India's pace attack continued to wace, with RS Ambrish (2/19) and Henil Patel (1/25) combining to bowl the first nine overs and leave Zimbabwe reeling at 24 for 3.

Zimbabwe were eventually bowled out for 148, handing India a convincing win. Skipper Ayush Mhatre (3/14) bowled his part-time off-breaks to run through the late-order.

Kian Blignaut (37 off 73) and Leeroy Chiwaula (62 off 77) demonstrated resilience in their innings, but floundered to speed the scoring pace. Zimbabwe reached 100 runs only in the 28th over but the required run rate climbed beyond a manageable level.

Earlier, India's confrontational start continued as they achieved 100 in just 62 balls, led by Vaibhav Suryavanshi's explosive 52 off 30 balls, featuring four fours and four sixes.

However, they hit a brief barbarian patch in the 11th over, losing Mhatre (21) and Suryavanshi in quick sequence to slip to 101 for 3. Malhotra fetched up his century off 104 deliveries as India continued to pillage runs.

Zimbabwe brought in eight bowlers against India, but the strategy backfired as left-handers Malhotra and Kundu calmly stitched 113 for the fifth wicket, rotating the strike with ease and foiling Zimbabwe's plans.
