DC vs GG WPL 2026 Eliminator: Delhi Capitals have beaten Gujarat Giants by seven wickets to reach the summit clash. DC, which has entered its fourth consecutive final, will now face 2024 winner RCB on February 5 after Smriti Mandhana-led Bengaluru had booked its spot in the summit clash as the table-topper in the league stage.

Jemimah Rodrigues replaced Meg Lanning as the skipper anin her first stint as thcaptain, she helped the team reach the final again. 

DC will lock horns with RCB in the summit clash on Thursday.

How DC Beat GG In Eliminator?

Beth Mooney played the role of a lone warrior by scoring a gritty fifty and helped the team post a respectable target of 168 runs. 

She had scored 62 runs off 51 balls, in which she had hit six fours and held thinnings from onend while facing a formidable bowling attack. 

Mooney got assistance from Georgia Wareham (35) as thduo had stitched a partnership of 61 runs for the fifth wicket.

Mooney then built a partnership of 39 runs with Kashvee Gautam (18) and helped the team post a respectable target. 

Delhi got early breakthroughs as Chinelle Henry (3/35) took the wicket of Sophie Devine (6). Nandini Sharma (2/44) then took two wickets in her first over. 

Nandini first dismissed Anushka Sharma (16), who mis-timed a shot towards mid-on, wherHenry took a stunning catch. She then dismissed Ashleigh Gardner (0) as Sneh Rana took an easy catch standing at slip. 

Mooney tried to play aggressively by smashing a 4 in Nandini's over but it became hard to smash fours after Minnu Mani (1/23) and Rana (0/30) caminto the attack. 

Mani then dismissed Kanika Ahuja (6) and thats when Wareham came to bat. 

Wareham had smashed three fours whereas Mooney continued her brilliant knock. 

And just when Gianst got thupper edge, Henry dismissed both Wareham and Bharti Fulmali in same over. 

Mooney and Kashvee helped the team bounce back by smashing fours in the last few overs.
