PM-KISAN Yojana 22nd Installment: The beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme are soon likely to receive the 22nd installment of Rs 2,000. Many farmer brothers and sisters have been anxiously awaiting this payment for quite some time.

Earlier reports suggested the amount would be released by the end of February. Expectations then shifted to the funds arriving in farmers’ bank accounts before Holi. However, February has come and gone, Holi celebrations have ended, and the money has still not been credited.

Under the PM-KISAN scheme provides eligible small and marginal farmers with direct financial support of Rs 6,000 per year. This assistance is disbursed in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each, transferred straight to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

PM Kisan 22nd Installment Date: When Will the Rs 2,000 Arrive?

According to Jagran.com reports, the PM Kisan 22nd installment could be announced on March 13. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Assam. During this visit, PM Modi may also announce the 22nd instalment for farmers. However, no official information has been given regarding this yet.

PM Kisan Yojana: Who Will Not Get the Benefit?

Farmers will not receive the 22nd installment if they have not completed e-KYC verification or linked a valid Farmer ID on the official portal.

The benefit is also unavailable if:

-More than one member of the same family (husband, wife, and minor children) is receiving the assistance.

-The farmer or any family member holds a government job.

-The beneficiary or family member is liable to pay income tax.

-The farmer receives a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 or more from any other government scheme.

To ensure smooth receipt of future installments, farmers are strongly encouraged to:

(a). Complete e-KYC immediately (if pending)

(b). Verify and update land records

(c). Check their eligibility status regularly on the official PM-KISAN website

(d). Farmers can also check their information through the Kisan eMitra chatbot

PM-KISAN 22nd Installment: How To Check Your Name

- Visit the official website

- Select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village

- Click on Submit

- The names of all the beneficiaries will be visible on the screen
