PM-KISAN 22nd Installment: The beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme are soon likely to receive the 22nd installment of Rs 2,000. While the exact date has not been announced yet, the amount is expected to be transferred either in the last week of February or the first week of March. While the previous installment was released earlier in November 2025, the beneficiaries are likely to receive the money ahead of Holi. The farmers, under this beneficiary scheme, get an annual financial assistance of Rs 6,000 in three installments.

PM Kisan Scheme: What Is The Trend?

2025- 19th installment was released on February 24

2024- 16th installment was transferred on February 28

2023- 13th installment was transferred on February 27

While the exact date has not been announced by the center, the amount is likely to be transferred in the last week of February as per the trend. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 2,000 is sent directly to farmers' bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

- Select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village

- Click on Submit

- The names of all the beneficiaries will be visible on the screen

- The Aadhaar card must be linked to your bank account

- Know Your Status (KYC) on the website or mobile app

- Farmers can also check their information through the Kisan eMitra chatbot

- Centre updates the list before releasing each installment

Earlier on February 12, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issued draft directions to overhaul and consolidate guidelines for the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme. These draft guidelines aim to expand coverage, streamline operational aspects, and address emerging requirements in the agricultural sector.

The authority has invited regulated entities, members of the public, and other stakeholders to submit their comments and feedback on the draft guidelines by March 6, 2026.
