MCX Gold, Silver Price Today: Bullion prices remained firm in early trade in the domestic commodity market, with a lacklustre response from investors despite escalating geopolitical uncertainty due to the ongoing war in the Middle East. The gold futures contract on Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) has been hovering around Rs 1,60,000 to Rs 1,63,000 for the past few sessions.

The MCX Gold (April expiry) witnessed a decent decline in the last session, closing at Rs 1,59,673 per 10 grams. However, it picked up the momentum in today's trade, jumping over Rs 1,500 to a high of Rs 1,61,250 in early trade. Similarly, MCX Silver (May expiry) jumped Rs 6,800 to a high of Rs 2,68,991 per kilogram as compared to Rs 2,62,191.

At the time of writing, the MCX Silver was trading at Rs 2,67,495, up Rs 5,304 or 2.02 per cent, while MCX gold was at 1,60,826, up Rs 1,153 or 0.72 per cent.

Gold Rate in the International Market

The gold and silver rates traded higher in the international market. Last seen, COMEX Gold was trading t $5,141.70 per ounce, up $63 or 1.24 per cent. At the same time, COMEX Silver was trading at $84.57, up $2.389 or 2.91 per cent.

24 Karat, 22 Karat Gold Rate In India

The 24 karat gold rate in India today is Rs 1,61,540 per 10 grams, while the 22 karat gold rate today is Rs 1,48,078 per 10 grams. The rate for 20 karat gold today is Rs 1,34,617 per 10 grams, while the 18 karat gold rate today is Rs 1,21,155 per 10 grams.
