AI Impact Summit 2026: To provide ease to foreign travellers attending the India AI Impact Summit, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) offers 'UPI One World' wallet services to international visitors.

Through this pilot initiative, inbound foreign travellers attending the ongoing five-day Summit will be able to make secure and real-time Person-to-Merchant (P2M) payments using UPI during their visit to India.

The organisation managing a digital retail payment system in India said that visitors will be able to use the wallet service without having an Indian mobile number or bank account.

UPI One World Is Available At Many Locations

The 'UPI One World' Wallet is available at New Delhi Airport and at the event site as well.

"The 'UPI One World' wallet is available through authorised PPI issuers at New Delhi International Airport and at the NPCI Pavilion (Hall 14, Stall number 14.16) in Bharat Mandapam," NPCI said in a statement.

Travellers can load the wallet using various payment methods and make transactions by scanning UPI QR codes via the PPI-UPI application.

UPI One World Eliminates the Need for Cash For Foreign Visitors

This eliminates the need to carry cash or manage foreign exchange-related hassles. The statement further stated that any unused balance can be transferred to the original payment source, in accordance with foreign exchange regulations.

India AI Impact Summit

The AI Impact Summit 2026 is taking place from February 16 to 20 at the Bharat Mandapam Complex in Delhi, where the G-20 Summit was held in 2023.

Global technology leaders Sundar Pichai and Sam Altman, along with leaders from nearly 20 countries, including Brazil, France, and India, are among the nearly 100 countries expected to attend the AI Impact Summit.
