Tesla Model Y In India:  Tesla entered the Indian market in India in July 2025, and its popular electric SUV, the Tesla Model Y, was launched in the country on the same day. The brand is extensively working on extending its network in the Indian cities. Now, the brand has announced that it will be displaying the Tesla Model Y in Punjab. However, this comes with a twist, as it will be displayed only between March 6 and March 12, 2026. The Model Y will be showcased at the Pavilion Mall, Ludhiana.

Tesla Model Y: Range & Features

The Model Y comes equipped with a 15.4-inch touchscreen inside the cabin, which controls most functions in the car. It also gets a panoramic glass sunroof and an electrical liftgate. The Model Y boasts some of the most advanced ADAS features, which include a blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, and more. The standard variant of the Model Y has a claimed range of up to 500 kilometres, whereas the long-range model of the SUV is claimed to deliver up to 622 kilometres in a full charge.

Tesla Model Y: Variants And Pricing

The Tesla Model Y is available in a total of two variants: the standard Rear Wheel Drive and the long-range Rear Wheel Drive. The standard Rear Wheel Drive variant is priced at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the long-range Rear Wheel Drive variant is priced at Rs 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
