Bestselling SUVs In India:  The demand for SUVs is rapidly increasing in the Indian market, and sales charts from February 2026 act as evidence for the SUV segment’s rapid rise. A total of 4 out of the top 5 bestselling cars in February 2026 were SUVs. Not just that, out of a total of 10 best-selling cars of February 2026, 5 of them are SUVs. Tata Nexon

The Tata Nexon retained its position as the best-selling SUV in the previous month. Notably, the Tata Nexon was also the best-selling car in January 2026. In February 2026, a total of 19,430 units of the Nexon were sold in the Indian market. The Nexon is priced between Rs 7.32 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 14.15 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.

Tata Punch

The Tata Punch secured third position in the charts of best-selling cars in India in February 2026, but it secured the second position in the top 5 bestselling SUVs in the country in the previous month. The Punch had remained the bestselling car for the year 2024 in the country, and the 2026 iteration of the Punch was recently launched in India with prices ranging between Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 10.54 lakh (ex-showroom). A total of 18,748 units of the Punch were sold in the previous month.

Hyundai Creta

The Hyundai Creta was introduced in the country in 2015, and it has remained one of the most popular SUVs ever since. The Creta remained in the top 5 bestselling cars in February 2026, and it is the third most sold SUV from the previous month. A total of 17,938 units of the Hyundai Creta were sold in February 2026.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza is all set to receive a new mid-cycle facelift model in 2026, and the prototypes have been spied on several occasions on the Indian roads. The Brezza remained the 5th most sold car in India in February 2026, and it also secured the position of the fourth bestselling SUV in the previous month. A total of 17,863 units of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza were sold in February 2026.

Mahindra Scorpio

The Mahidra Scorpio secured the ninth position in the charts of bestselling cars in India. Notably, the number includes units of the Mahindra Scorpio N and the Mahindra Classic. A total of 14,665 units of the Mahindra Scorpio were sold in February 2026. The Mahindra Scorpio secured the position as the 5th bestselling SUV in India in February 2026.
