Hyundai Diesel Automatic Variant: The 2025 Hyundai Venue was launched on November 4, 2025. The brand has now shared that the newly launched Hyundai Venue has crossed the 1 lakh sales milestone in India. The brand has introduced a new HX8 variant with a diesel automatic powertrain. Hyundai Venue: Diesel Automatic More Affordable
Earlier, the new generation of the Hyundai Venue with a diesel engine and an automatic transmission was only available with the top-spec HX10 trim, and it was priced at Rs 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the brand has made the diesel automatic more affordable by offering the HX8 variant for Rs 13.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Venue HX8 Trim: Features
The Hyundai Venue HX8 trim is the second top-spec variant in the SUV’s lineup. This essentially means that the HX8 trim comes equipped with several advanced features, such as ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a 4-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, leatherette upholstery, connected car features, paddle shifters, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an automatic climate control system, and a panoramic sunroof. It misses out on features such as a Level 2 ADAS suite, an electrochromic IRVM, front and side parking sensors, and 12.3-inch dual screens, when compared to the top-spec HX10 variant.

Hyundai Venue HX8 Trim: Engine Specs
The diesel engine in the Hyundai Venue HX8 trim is paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The Venue uses a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that can generate a peak power and torque output of 116hp and 250 Nm, respectively.
