Hyundai Exter Facelift Spy Images: The prototypes of the Hyundai Exter facelift have been spied in India, along with overseas, and it is expected to be launched by the end of the year. The Exter was launched by Hyundai in 2023, and it has remained a popular nameplate for the brand ever since. Another prototype of the Hyundai Exter facelift was spied recently. Hyundai Exter Facelift 2026: Expected Design
The test mule of the 2026 Hyundai Exter facelift was heavily disguised during the testing, but it reveals several key changes that the SUV is expected to receive. The test mule retains the H-shaped DRLand taillight setup, as the current model on sale. However, it is expected to receive a tweaked grille at the front, along with a redesigned bumper. The upcoming Hyundai Exter facelift is also expected to get a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels.

Hyundai Exter Facelift Spied: Expected Features
The cabin of the Hyundai Exter facelift 2026 remains under wraps, and more details are expected to be revealed as the launch nears. However, as per several reports, we expect the upcoming Exter facelift to come equipped with a larger 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a 9.9-inch digital driver’s display. The touchscreen of the Hyundai Exter is expected to be based on the Android Auto OS, which will make it the first mass-market car in India to feature this. More premium upholstery materials and additional safety features are also anticipated from the upcoming Hyundai Exter facelift.

Hyundai Exter Facelift: Expected Engine
While the Hyundai Exter Faceift 2026 is expected to receive minimal changes in terms of exterior and interior, we expect it to remain unchanged in terms of powertrain. We expect that the Exter facelift will continue with powertrain options of a 1.2-litre petrol engine with 83 bhp, and a CNG engine with a maximum power output of 69 hp. The petrol engine can be paired with options of either a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission.
